In the GaryLends.com system, my processor and underwriter are in my local office. With local decision-making, you stay as close to the process as you want, and you will always have an easy way to communicate with the people who are working for you. We are not a large regional bank and NOT a mortgage broker, which may shop your loan all over the country without you knowing it, before sending your file out of state for processing and underwriting. Most sales that “blow up“ at the last minute come from brokered loans. A large local builder goes so far as to require their purchasers to sign a form in which they strongly urge against using a “mortgage broker.“
