First-Time Homebuyer Specials
If home buying were a food pyramid, first-time homebuyers would be at the base. According to the National Association of Realtors, about 40% of all sales are to first-time homebuyers. The figure is 41% in Middle Tennessee. When first-timers buy, their sellers are enabled to move up, and a chain reaction results that resonates up through the market.

Fortunately, there are many programs which are either specifically limited to first-timers or which address typical first-timer issues, such as having little or no money to spare for the initial investment. Some provide a grant which pays for your down payment or closing costs or provide a below-market interest rate.

Everyone is unique, and each of us has our own financial picture, objectives, and view of things. Once I have your information, I can see if you qualify for a grant or special rate, and I can show you the loan programs that give you the best value.
